The Senior Student Council of Southern Regional High School has the privilege of discussing and helping to formulate school policies which affect student activities and school life in general. It promotes among students an understanding of school traditions and it fosters school spirit. The Student Council solicits input from students and is the collective voice of the student body.
The Student Council is made up of representatives selected in September. The officers of the Council are elected in a school-wide election in the spring. The organization meets approximately twice a month while the officers meet with the advisors more frequently to conduct the day-to-day activities sponsored by the group.
