At this time the college application process for seniors is well underway. The following suggestions will help make the process go smoothly.

  • Visit our online scholarship page for local and general scholarship listings.
  • A transcript release form PDF File Icon and an activity sheet are included in this packet. These forms should be returned to the Guidance Office, as they are necessary for preparing your transcript. Click on the link or stop by the guidance office.
  • Request recommendations now from your teachers, employers, or coaches!
  • Applications can be acquired by calling your selected colleges or by checking with your counselor. The Guidance Office has applications for many NJ schools on file. In addition, many schools encourage students to apply online. If you do apply on line be sure to let your counselor know so that they can forward a transcript to the school.
  • Bring the completed application(s) to the Guidance Office. Be sure to include any applicable fees and letters of recommendation, if required.
  • Be aware of deadlines! Make sure the application is given to a secretary at least two weeks prior to the due date. All seniors who need to have applications submitted to college prior to January 1st, must submit them to the Guidance secretary no later than two weeks before winter break.
