There are College Fairs available throughout the school year.
Here are some that we recommend.
In October each year there is a college fair run be the Ocean County Personnel & Guidance Association (OCPGA). This fair is held at Ocean County College in Toms River in the evening. Each year approximately 125 colleges will send a representative to set up a table and meet with potential college students from Ocean County. We recommend that students attend in 10th and 11th grade. Seniors can attend too, but we hope that you are further along in your selection process by this time.
The National Association of College Admission Counselors (NACAC) offer two college fairs in New Jersey. One is held in November in Atlantic City and one is held in May in North Jersey. These college fairs usually attract over 200 colleges and universities from within and outside of New Jersey. These programs are held during the school day and in the evening. The guidance department runs field trips to these fairs during the school day.
