Doing academically well enough in high school to get into the college of your choice...Priceless!

Finding out of 3500 colleges the one college that is perfect for you....Priceless!

Discovering how much college costs....Agonizing!

Make no mistake about it, college can be expensive. But, don't let the sticker price of college keep you from attending. There are grants, aid and loans that can help.

Sometimes a college that is way more expensive can actually cost less per year because of the aid the expensive college can offer. You need to be realistic, but don't make decisions on a hunch. Get the raw facts directly from the college about "your" costs before you make any final decisions.

We have included some links to a few website to start getting informed about Financial Aid. The Guidance Department sponsors a Financial Aid Night each January to help parents of seniors who have questions, but all parents are welcome.

Although as counselors we try to stay current on Financial Aid, the information is ever changing and we could never keep current enough to answer all your questions. The good news is that every college has a financial aid office. These folks are experts and are very willing to answer your questions.

Please feel free to ask you counselor any questions. If we don't know the answer we will find out or direct you to someone who can give you an accurate answer.
