N.J.S.A. 18A:36-19.2
provides that lockers or other storage facilities may be
searched on reasonable grounds and periodically inspected,
provided that students are informed, in writing, at the
beginning of the school year that such inspections may occur, so
as not to create an expectation of privacy.&
