At SRMS Applied Technology is an Introduction to Applied Technology.
Intro. to Applied Technology offers 7th and 8th Grade students instruction in materials and machine tools commonly used in industry. The class includes: shop safety, machine tools, hand tools as well as the choosing and processing of materials. A large portion of the class takes place in the shop where students will apply the knowledge gained to build a small wooden project.
