Television Production Introduction
This entry-level course teaches students the basic techniques of television production. Technical and communication skills are emphasized for successful broadcast performance related to the television industry. Students learn production equipment, the art of visual storytelling, multi-camera set ups, and the script writing process in order to foster an individual shooting style.

Television Production Intermediate
This second level course focuses on news and studio production. Students will concentrate on creating a news broadcast style, interviewing techniques, studio crew positions, 3-Point lighting systems, studio lighting, and writing for news. Students will work in a studio setting as well as live and recorded field productions.

Television Production Advanced
The advanced level course allows the students to produce the morning school news and news packages on any relevant school events. Student’s also produce additional programming for Southern’s SNN Channel 21 television station.
